Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking an ACCOUNTING MANAGER in NY

Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget.
- Conduct regular forecasting to identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
- Cost Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze production costs, identifying areas for cost efficiency and process improvements.
- Work closely with the operations team to optimize production costs without compromising quality.
- Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain strong internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting policies.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
- years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and cost accounting.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
